During the Warring States period, Wei Wujia, the Lord of Xinling in the Wei Kingdom, was deeply loved by the people for his noble character and outstanding abilities. However, some villains envied his achievements and secretly spread rumors, claiming that he was corrupt, accepting bribes, and forming cliques for personal gain. These rumors spread like wildfire, and many people began to suspect and even attack him. Lord Xinling remained silent and didn't defend himself. He knew that even if he did, it would be hard to eliminate the negative impact of these rumors. As time went on, more and more rumors emerged, severely damaging Lord Xinling’s reputation. Nevertheless, he persisted in his beliefs and devoted himself to the country. Finally, the truth came to light, the villains who spread the rumors received their due punishment, and Lord Xinling was cleared of all charges. This story tells us that even in the face of slander and rumors, one should uphold their principles, maintain inner peace, and persevere in the truth; ultimately, justice will prevail.
