话说宋朝年间，金兵大举南侵，边关告急。朝廷任命种师中为大将，率兵抗敌。种师中，是一位老成持重的将领，他深知金兵狡诈，不会轻易放弃任何机会。一次，金兵故意示弱，分散兵力，前线侦察兵回报朝廷，以为这是个一举歼灭敌军的大好时机。然而，种师中却认为这是金兵的诡计，建议朝廷暂缓出兵，仔细探查敌情。可是，朝廷上一些年轻的将领，轻敌冒进，不听从他的劝告，执意要出兵。种师中无奈，只好奉命出征。果然，这正是金兵设下的陷阱，种师中的军队遭遇了埋伏，损失惨重。这个事件充分说明，在战争中，老成持重的战略眼光和谨慎的决策至关重要。

Zhong Shizhong was an experienced and composed general, he knew that the Jin army was cunning and would not easily give up any opportunity. Once, the Jin army deliberately showed weakness, dispersing their troops. The front-line scouts reported to the court, believing that this was a great opportunity to annihilate the enemy army in one fell swoop. However, Zhong Shizhong believed that this was a trick of the Jin army, and suggested that the court postpone the attack and carefully investigate the enemy situation. However, some young generals at the court underestimated the enemy and aggressively pushed for an attack, disregarding his advice. Zhong Shizhong had no choice but to comply with the order and go to war. Sure enough, this was a trap set by the Jin army. Zhong Shizhong's army was ambushed and suffered heavy losses. This incident clearly shows that in war, an experienced and composed strategic vision and cautious decision-making are crucial.
