In the remote mountains, far from the hustle and bustle of the world, lived an old man named Yun He. In his youth, he was a court official, but tired of the intrigue of the officialdom, he resigned and retired to this beautiful place. Every day he collected herbs, read books, and practiced calligraphy. He did not contend with the world and led a simple and peaceful life. Although he was isolated from the world, he was not out of sync with the world. Instead, he attracted visitors from all directions with his unique charm. He was sincere to people, kind and generous, and deeply loved by the local people. Someone asked him why he chose to live in seclusion, and he said, “I don't hate people, I just want to find a place of peace in the noisy world, to cultivate my character and serve the people better.” Yun He used his actions to interpret the true meaning of living in seclusion. He was not completely isolated from the world but integrated into society in another way, dedicating his life to its service.
