During the Tang Dynasty, there was a general named Li Jing, who was very skilled in warfare, knew the enemy like his own fist, and could often predict the enemy's actions. Once, Li Jing led his troops to attack the Turks. The Turkic troops were outnumbered. Li Jing feared that his troops might be at a disadvantage and sent spies to scout the enemy. When the spies returned, they told Li Jing that the Turkic troops had gathered on the grassland and were ready to attack the Tang troops. Li Jing did not panic, but instead smiled and said to those around him: “As expected, they will come to attack.” Sure enough, the next day, the Turkic troops launched a fierce attack on the Tang troops. Li Jing was prepared, he commanded his troops to meet the enemy, and finally defeated the Turkic troops.
