从前，在一个小山村里，住着一位名叫阿强的年轻樵夫。他每天清晨都会上山砍柴，然后把柴火挑下山去卖。有一天，阿强上山砍柴时，发现了一棵异常粗壮的古树。这棵古树的树干上长满了奇特的纹路，树叶也比其他的树木更加茂盛。阿强感到好奇，便用斧头砍了几下，却发现这棵古树异常坚硬，斧头根本砍不动。阿强感到很奇怪，心想：这棵树为什么这么坚硬呢？难道有什么特殊的原因？他仔细观察了这棵古树，发现它的根部扎得很深，而且周围的泥土非常湿润。阿强这才明白，原来这棵古树之所以这么坚硬，是因为它扎根很深，吸收了充足的水分和养分。阿强把这件事告诉了村里的老人，老人听了之后，笑着说："孩子，这棵树之所以如此坚硬，是因为它扎根深厚啊！世间万物，事出有因，凡事都有其道理。"

Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, lived a young woodcutter named Aqiang. Every morning he would go up the mountain to chop wood and then carry it down the mountain to sell. One day, when Aqiang was chopping wood in the mountains, he discovered an unusually large and old tree. The trunk of this tree was covered with strange lines, and the leaves were more lush than other trees. Aqiang was curious and struck it a few times with his axe, but he found that the tree was unusually hard, and the axe could not cut it. Aqiang was very strange, thinking: Why is this tree so hard? Is there any special reason? He carefully observed the tree, and found that its roots were deeply rooted, and the surrounding soil was very moist. Aqiang then understood that the reason why this tree was so hard was because it was deeply rooted and had absorbed sufficient water and nutrients. Aqiang told this to the village elders, and the elders smiled and said: "Child, the reason why this tree is so hard is because it is deeply rooted! In the world, everything happens for a reason, everything has its reason."
