半信半疑

在一个繁华的集市上，一位江湖术士摆了个摊位，声称自己能用一根竹签测出人的命运。不少人围观，半信半疑地排队等候。一位富商也加入了队伍，他好奇地将自己的手伸向竹签，术士仔细端详后，面色凝重地说：“您的命格不凡，注定要大富大贵，但是…”富商连忙追问：“但是什么？”术士故作神秘地说：“您命中有劫，需要用一把特殊的宝剑才能化解。”富商一听顿时心慌，急切地问道：“那宝剑在哪里？我马上就去买！”术士指了指不远处的一家店铺，说：“那家店里就有，但价格不菲。”富商深信不疑，立即前往店铺购买了宝剑，回到家中便将宝剑供奉起来，心中忐忑不安。过了几天，富商发现自己的生意并无起色，反而出现了一些小挫折。他再次找到术士，质问道：“你说我能大富大贵，为什么我的生意反而越来越差？”术士笑着说：“这只是个小小的考验，真正的考验还在后面。”富商这才明白，自己被骗了，他懊悔不已，但也只能接受现实。

He went to the magician again and questioned him, “You said I would be rich and powerful, why is my business getting worse?” The magician smiled and said, “This was just a small test, the real challenge is yet to come.” The merchant realized that he had been deceived and regretted it deeply, but he could only accept reality.
