In the Tang Dynasty during the reign of Emperor Taizong, a young man named Li Jing loved to read and dreamed of becoming a civil official, but due to his poor family background, he had to abandon his studies to earn a living. One day, he met a high-ranking monk who was impressed by his extraordinary appearance and urged him to abandon his literary pursuits and join the army to serve his country. After careful consideration, Li Jing listened to the monk's advice. He left his hometown, joined the army, and by virtue of his wit and hard work, he made many contributions on the battlefield, eventually becoming a famous general, making great contributions to the stabilization and development of the Tang Dynasty.
