Origin Story
Once upon a time, in a remote mountain village, lived a young man named Xiaoshi. He had never been interested in studying and spent his days idle and doing nothing. The villagers said that he was ignorant and foolish, but he didn't care, and even felt smug about it. One day, a fortune teller came to the village. Xiaoshi curiously went to see him. The fortune teller looked at his face, shook his head, and said that he was destined to be poor and destitute because he was unambitious and ignorant. Xiaoshi was furious and thought that the fortune teller was talking nonsense and didn't believe him at all. He continued to live a carefree life and never thought of changing himself. As a result, he really did as the fortune teller said; he lived a poor and regretful life and spent the rest of his life in regret. This story tells us that ignorance can cause people to lose opportunities and ultimately lead to failure.
