Describes an army or force that is unstoppable, with enemies fleeing everywhere they go.
Origin Story
During the Chu-Han contention, Xiang Yu's Chu army was known for its bravery and skill in battle. They advanced triumphantly, sweeping all before them, the Qin army collapsing in defeat. Xiang Yu's army, with its overwhelming strength and ferocious fighting style, achieved a series of victories, almost completely wiping out the enemy forces. However, at the Battle of Gaixia, Xiang Yu was finally defeated by Liu Bang. This was not only the end of Xiang Yu's personal tragedy, but also marked the final conclusion of the Chu-Han contention. Though Xiang Yu ultimately perished, his invincible exploits remain etched in history. The story also serves as a reminder that even the mightiest force is not forever undefeated; victory requires favorable circumstances, clear strategic decisions, and effective responses.
