In the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Ming who fell in love with a beautiful and kind woman. The woman's father was a well-respected official who placed great importance on his daughter's marriage, insisting on finding her a suitable husband. Li Ming's family was poor, but he was talented and deeply loved the woman, and hoped to marry her.
