普天同庆,是指天下的人或全国的人共同庆祝,多用于庆祝国家有喜事。

Pu Tian Tong Qing means that all people in the empire or the whole country celebrate together, mainly used to celebrate happy events in the country.

Origin Story

大唐盛世,国泰民安,百姓安居乐业。一日,唐玄宗在皇宫中举办盛大的宴会,宴请文武百官,以庆祝国家太平。宴会结束后,玄宗皇帝心情大好,便命人将皇宫里的金银财宝,分发给前来参加宴会的官员们。官员们一个个喜笑颜开,纷纷向玄宗皇帝表示感谢。这时,一位老臣却迟迟没有上前领赏,玄宗皇帝便问他:“为何不领赏?”老臣答道:“陛下,天下百姓如今都过着安居乐业的生活,这才是最大的赏赐啊!我们这些做臣子的,能为陛下分忧,也是我们的荣幸。所以,臣等不敢贪图这些金银财宝。”玄宗皇帝听了老臣的话,十分感动,便将金银财宝全部收了起来,并下令将这些钱财用来救济灾民。此后,唐玄宗便更加勤政爱民,励精图治,大唐盛世也因此更加繁荣昌盛。

普天同庆一般用于形容国家或民族有重大喜事,例如国庆节、春节等,也可以用来形容喜庆的氛围。

pǔ tiān tóng qìng yī bān yòng yú xíng róng guó jiā huò mín zú yǒu zhòng dà xǐ shì, lì rú guó qìng jié, chūn jié děng, yě kě yǐ yòng lái xíng róng xǐ qìng de fèn wéi.
