普天同庆,是指天下的人或全国的人共同庆祝,多用于庆祝国家有喜事。

Origin Story
大唐盛世,国泰民安,百姓安居乐业。一日,唐玄宗在皇宫中举办盛大的宴会,宴请文武百官,以庆祝国家太平。宴会结束后,玄宗皇帝心情大好,便命人将皇宫里的金银财宝,分发给前来参加宴会的官员们。官员们一个个喜笑颜开,纷纷向玄宗皇帝表示感谢。这时,一位老臣却迟迟没有上前领赏,玄宗皇帝便问他:“为何不领赏?”老臣答道:“陛下,天下百姓如今都过着安居乐业的生活,这才是最大的赏赐啊!我们这些做臣子的,能为陛下分忧,也是我们的荣幸。所以,臣等不敢贪图这些金银财宝。”玄宗皇帝听了老臣的话,十分感动,便将金银财宝全部收了起来,并下令将这些钱财用来救济灾民。此后,唐玄宗便更加勤政爱民,励精图治,大唐盛世也因此更加繁荣昌盛。
