Origin Story
During the Han Dynasty, the imperial court was corrupt, officials were embezzling, taxes were heavy, and the people were suffering terribly. The image of streets where nothing was lost had long since disappeared, replaced by a miserable life and complaints everywhere. In the fields, the angry cries of farmers were heard everywhere. Their homes were destroyed by war, the fields were barren, harvests were poor, many people didn't even have enough to eat or were poorly clothed. Even worse, some corrupt officials were arbitrarily extorting and confiscating, leading to widespread complaints and miserable lives for the people. They sent petitions to the court, but no one paid any attention. Some officials even brutally suppressed the petitioners to cover up their crimes. For a time, the whole country was filled with oppression and despair. Finally, the people's anger culminated in a massive uprising, overthrowing the decaying dynasty and establishing a new regime.
