Origin Story
Long ago, the northeastern land of China was sparsely populated, with only vast mountains and rushing rivers. Changbai Mountain, towering into the clouds, covered in white snow, resembled a majestic giant guarding the land. Heilongjiang River, winding and flowing swiftly, was like a black dragon coiled at the foot of the mountain. Here, mountains rose and fell, forests were dense, resources were abundant, hence the name White Mountains and Black Waters. Later, hardworking and brave people came here, cultivated the wasteland, built their homes, and the White Mountains and Black Waters gradually became fertile lands.
