Shuò dà wú péng, a Chinese idiom, means immensely large, without equal. It describes the extremely large size of an object or structure.
Origin Story
Legend has it that in ancient times, at the foot of the Kunlun Mountains, there lived a mighty hero named Kua Fu. To bring light to the world, he resolved to chase the sun. He ran tirelessly, the very ground trembling under the force of his steps. He drank from the Yellow River and the Wei River. Yet, the sun remained always out of reach. Finally, exhausted, he perished, falling upon the vast expanse of land. Where he fell, a dense forest grew. In remembrance, people named it the Kua Fu Forest. The trees of this forest were extraordinarily tall, their crowns wide, their foliage abundant, each tree like a giant, their scale breathtaking – this is the “硕大无朋” Kua Fu Forest.
