Children played in the fields, adults worked in the fields, and every household was full of laughter. The national strength was strong, the people were wealthy, and this land was everywhere overflowing with happiness and hope. However, peaceful times did not mean eternal peace; external aggression and internal contradictions could at any time break the hard-won tranquility.
