In the Tang Dynasty, there was a general named Li Bai who was known throughout the land for his exceptional military talent and courage. He once led thousands of soldiers into battle, cutting a path through the enemy ranks, and achieving many great victories. On one occasion, General Li Bai was ordered to lead his troops in an attack against an enemy state. Faced with the enemy’s overwhelmingly superior numbers, many of his soldiers were filled with fear. But General Li Bai remained calm and composed. He stood on the city walls, his sword in hand, and shouted loudly to boost the morale of his troops. His voice was strong and resonant, filled with confidence and courage. His men, inspired by his bravery, fought fiercely and ultimately achieved victory. After the battle, someone asked General Li Bai why he was so incredibly brave. He smiled and replied, "A man who lives between heaven and earth should stand tall and possess courage. How can he be intimidated by a mere enemy?"
