It is said that during the Tang Dynasty, there was a scholar named Li Bai, who was diligent and studious, and wanted to achieve fame and success. One day, while he was engrossed in his studies, he suddenly heard a commotion outside the window. Curious, he went to take a look and found that a fortune-teller had come to the village, predicting fortunes for the villagers. Li Bai never believed in such things, but as he saw the fortune-teller talking eloquently about various predictions, he couldn't help but be attracted to him. When the fortune-teller saw Li Bai, he enthusiastically invited him to have his fortune told. Li Bai hesitated for a moment but agreed. The fortune-teller calculated with his fingers and then said mysteriously, “You are destined to be the top scholar, but there will be troublemakers that will cause you to be absent-minded and unable to concentrate on your studies. You need to be careful so you can successfully achieve fame.” Li Bai listened to the fortune-teller's words and felt uneasy. For the next few days, he was unable to concentrate on his studies, his mind wandering constantly, as if something was really influencing him. He became absent-minded and anxious. After a few days, he finally understood that the so-called “troublemakers” were merely his own anxiety. He adjusted his mindset, studied diligently, and ultimately performed well in the exam, becoming the top scholar.
