Origin
从前，有个渔民在海边捕鱼，意外地发现一颗晶莹剔透的珍珠。他欣喜若狂，赶紧把珍珠藏了起来。 后来，他的邻居，一个擅长木雕的匠人，在河边捡到一颗很大的鱼眼，误以为是珍贵的珍珠，也小心地收藏起来。 有一天，渔民和匠人同时患了重病，都需要服用珍贵的珍珠粉末才能治好。渔民拿出他珍藏的珍珠，准备研磨成粉末。匠人一看，也连忙拿出他捡到的“珍珠”。 当两人将各自的珍珠拿出来对比时，他们才发现，匠人捡到的其实是颗巨大的鱼眼，晶莹剔透的外表迷惑了他。渔民的珍珠则散发出柔和的光泽，质地温润细腻。 这个故事流传开来，人们便用“鱼目混珠”来形容那些用假的东西冒充真的东西的行为，提醒人们要擦亮眼睛，不要被表面的伪装所迷惑。
