话说古代有一位勤勉的农夫，他每年春天都要辛勤耕耘，细心呵护庄稼。秋收时节，他总是收获满满，仓廪实，衣食足。而村里其他一些农夫，则常常因为春耕准备不足，或者中途遇到灾害，导致收成不好，甚至颗粒无收。这位勤勉的农夫每每看到这些，都会感叹地说：“凡事预则立，不预则废啊！”他深知，成功并非偶然，而是源于事前的周密计划和充分准备。他将这种经验传给子孙后代，告诫他们，无论做什么事，都要事先做好充分的准备，才能事半功倍，最终取得成功。他家世代务农，家境殷实，成为村里人人羡慕的模范家庭。
Once upon a time, there was a diligent farmer who worked diligently every spring and carefully tended to his crops. In the autumn harvest, he always had a bountiful harvest, his granaries were full, and his food and clothing were sufficient. However, other farmers in the village often had poor harvests, or even no harvest at all, due to insufficient preparations during spring ploughing or disasters along the way.
