In a remote village, a heated argument was taking place. The village head and his son were in a fierce conflict over land ownership. Villagers gathered at the entrance of the village, gossiping and even some tried to stir up trouble, exacerbating the conflict. However, an elderly wise man stood in the distance, quietly observing everything without a ripple on his face. He simply watched coldly, without saying a word, letting the argument continue until both sides were exhausted, before slowly walking forward to mediate the dispute in a calm tone. In the end, the village head and his son shook hands and made peace under the wise man's mediation, and the village returned to calm. The wise man's cold observation also made the villagers deeply reflect on their own behavior.
