Origin Story
During the Three Kingdoms period, the famous Shu Han general Zhuge Liang led his army on a northern expedition against Cao Wei. Facing Cao Wei's strong military force, Zhuge Liang decided to adopt the strategy of "divided advance and united attack." He divided his army into several groups, each led by generals such as Zhao Yun, Ma Chao, and Huang Zhong, to attack Cao Wei's cities from different directions. Zhao Yun led the vanguard troops, attacking the Cao Wei camp directly to contain the enemy's main force. Ma Chao launched a flanking attack, cutting off the enemy's rear. Huang Zhong led elite troops to attack Cao Wei's granaries to cut off the enemy's supply lines. The Cao Wei army was caught off guard and defeated by the Shu army. Finally, they had to abandon their cities and retreat. Zhuge Liang's strategy of "divided advance and united attack" achieved a brilliant victory and became a model for military strategists in later generations.
