Origin Story

Long ago, in a remote mountain village, lived a young man named Aqiang. Since childhood, he was frail and often ill, and the village witch had prophesied that he was destined to suffer a great calamity. Aqiang believed this, and lived in constant fear. One day, a wandering monk came to the village. After hearing Aqiang’s story, he said, 'Fate is not immutable; human effort can change everything.' The monk taught Aqiang a set of exercises to strengthen his body and mind, and guided him to face life with a positive and optimistic attitude. Aqiang trained diligently, his body grew stronger, and his outlook became increasingly positive. Years later, a great earthquake struck the mountain village, many houses collapsed, and many villagers were killed or injured. However, Aqiang miraculously survived. Although his house was damaged, it did not completely collapse, and he escaped using the martial arts he had learned. He not only saved himself but also rescued many villagers. From then on, Aqiang no longer believed in fatalism. He firmly believed that as long as one works hard, one can overcome any difficulty and change one's fate.
