Origin Story
During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang executed Ma Su at Wuzhangyuan after Ma Su lost the battle of Jie Ting, causing heavy losses to the Shu army. Reflecting on this, Zhuge Liang resolved to change his command style. He no longer solely issued orders himself, instead, he encouraged open dialogue and incorporated the suggestions of his officers, leading to a consensus on decisions. In subsequent battles, Zhuge Liang still meticulously planned strategies, but his command emphasized teamwork and adaptability. He delegated authority to his subordinates, allowing them to make timely adjustments according to the battlefield situation, leading to greater victories. Zhuge Liang realized that successful military command doesn't only lie in giving orders but also in coordinating overall strategy, mobilizing forces, and forming a united front. This change not only improved the Shu army's strength but also showcased his wisdom and broad-mindedness as a renowned general.
