Origin Story
At the end of the Ming Dynasty, the Qing army attacked Yangzhou City, and Shi Kefa vowed to defend the city to the death. The Qing army repeatedly urged him to surrender, even sending envoys with letters, urging him to surrender to save his life. Shi Kefa, however, resolutely refused, throwing these letters on the ground and sternly condemning the Qing army's aggression. In the end, the city fell, and Shi Kefa died rather than surrender. His unyielding spirit has become an eternal legend.
