During the Tang Dynasty in ancient China, a famous poet named Li Bai was visiting an ancient temple in the suburbs of Luoyang. The temple was full of incense, and tourists were coming and going. Li Bai was admiring the ancient and elegant architecture of the temple, and savoring the sandalwood fragrance. Suddenly, he was attracted by a couplet in the temple: 'A thing was born with wings, it can fly but cannot walk.' Li Bai recited the couplet over and over again, but he couldn't understand it. He thought it was strange and wondered what it was. He went to the abbot of the temple and asked him about the meaning of the couplet. The abbot smiled slightly and told Li Bai that the answer was 'airplane'. Li Bai was very puzzled because people in the Tang Dynasty didn't know what an airplane was. The abbot patiently explained to Li Bai the structure and flight principle of the airplane, and then Li Bai suddenly realized it. Since then, whenever Li Bai thought of the couplet and the abbot's explanation, he couldn't help but sigh at the passage of time and the progress of technology.
