天府之国 Land of Heavenly Abundance
Explanation
天府之国，原指土地肥沃、物产丰富的地区，后专指四川省。它形容四川盆地气候温和，雨量充沛，土地肥沃，物产丰富，自古以来就是富饶的土地。
Tianfu zhi guo originally referred to an area with fertile land and abundant products, and later specifically referred to Sichuan Province. It describes the Sichuan Basin with its mild climate, abundant rainfall, fertile land, and abundant products as a rich land since ancient times.
Origin Story
战国时期，一个名叫苏秦的谋士来到秦国游说秦王。他指着地图，慷慨激昂地说："大王您的国家，西有巴蜀汉中的富饶土地，北有胡貉代马的优质马匹，南有巫山黔中的天然屏障，东有肴函的险要关隘，土地肥沃，百姓富足，战车成千上万，军队百万雄师，沃野千里，资源丰富，这简直就是名副其实的天府之国啊！"秦王听后，却并未被苏秦的花言巧语所打动。苏秦游说失败，最终离开了秦国，继续他的合纵连横之路。
During the Warring States period, a strategist named Su Qin came to the State of Qin to persuade the Qin King. Pointing to the map, he spoke passionately: "Your Majesty's kingdom, in the west, has the rich lands of Ba, Shu, and Hanzhong; in the north, the fine horses of Hu, He, and Dai; in the south, the natural barriers of Wushan and Qianzhong; and in the east, the strategically important passes of Yao and Han. The land is fertile, the people prosperous, tens of thousands of chariots are ready, millions of soldiers are deployed, and fertile fields stretch for thousands of li—this is truly a heavenly treasure house!" The Qin King, however, was not swayed by Su Qin's eloquent words. Su Qin's persuasion failed, and he eventually left Qin, continuing his pursuit of alliances and strategies.
