Origin Story
As the sun set, an unsettling silence filled the valley. Li Daschan, a young woodsman, shouldered a large bundle of firewood and was preparing to go home. Suddenly, he heard a rustling sound behind him, like a snake crawling, sending a chill down his spine. He slowly turned around and, in the fading sunlight, saw a pair of green eyes peering at him from the bushes. Fear instantly engulfed him; he was in a state of panic, and the firewood fell from his hands. He tumbled and scrambled down the mountain, only daring to stop and catch his breath when he reached the village entrance. Still shaken, pale, and trembling, he recounted to the villagers what he'd seen and the intense fear he'd felt. The villagers comforted him and helped search for anything unusual in the valley. After a thorough search, they discovered an injured owl that had unintentionally startled Li Daschan. Though it was a false alarm, this experience left an unforgettable mark on Li Daschan, making him deeply understand the meaning of "panic".
