During the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai who, dissatisfied with court politics, often argued with people in taverns, using harsh words. One day, Li Bai got into an argument with an official in a tavern in Chang'an. Words were exchanged, and the official, angry and ashamed, called his servants, who beat Li Bai up. Although Li Bai wasn’t skilled in martial arts, fuelled by alcohol, he fought back, leading to a chaotic scene. Eventually, the government intervened and settled the conflict.
