Origin Story
明朝嘉靖年间，奸臣严嵩权倾朝野，党羽遍布朝堂内外。当时正直的官员董传策，看不惯严嵩的专权乱政，毅然决然地写奏折弹劾严嵩，揭露其罪行。然而，昏庸的嘉靖皇帝却听信了严嵩的谗言，将董传策下狱，并贬为庶民，流放云南。虽然董传策的奏折未能立即奏效，但他正直的品格和对国家命运的担当，却彰显了中华民族的浩然正气。故事中，董传策的行为恰好说明了他能够洞察严嵩的奸诈，然而，他所处的环境并没有给他足够的助力，使其努力没能取得预期效果。这或许是一种遗憾，但同时也是对当时社会的一种有力控诉。
During the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty, the treacherous minister Yan Song held supreme power, his cronies filling the court. Dong Chuan-ce, an upright official, could no longer tolerate Yan Song's tyranny and corruption. He bravely submitted a memorial denouncing Yan Song's crimes. However, the incompetent Emperor Jiajing, swayed by Yan Song's slander, imprisoned Dong Chuan-ce and exiled him to Yunnan. While Dong Chuan-ce's memorial failed to produce immediate results, his upright character and dedication to the nation demonstrated the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people.
