Origin Story

During the Tang Dynasty, the great poet Li Bai loved to drink and make friends. One day, he and several friends were drinking in a tavern. After a few rounds of wine, Li Bai was filled with excitement and began to speak freely, discussing poetry creation, life ideals, and his views on the court. One of his friends, Gao Shi, a famous border poet, was usually reserved and rarely expressed his thoughts in public. However, inspired by Li Bai, Gao Shi also let go of his worries and spoke freely, sharing his experiences and feelings about life on the border, as well as his views on war. After the banquet, both Li Bai and Gao Shi felt very happy, because they had not only shared their thoughts, but also deepened their friendship. This story tells us that friends should be honest with each other and speak freely to enhance their understanding and feelings.
