During the Eastern Jin Dynasty, a general named Liu Bo was appointed to guard the northern border after the Battle of Fei Shui. However, he was seriously ill and knew he was unable to continue his heavy responsibilities. For the sake of national security, he resolutely wrote a letter to the emperor, frankly stating his illness and concerns about the national situation, and recommending that the emperor appoint other capable generals to guard the border. His honesty and patriotism moved the emperor and showed his sense of responsibility for major national affairs. Although his health did not allow him to continue serving the country, he still protected the country's safety in his own way, and this spirit is worth admiring.
