In the late Eastern Han Dynasty, there was incessant war. A general named Li Bai repeatedly distinguished himself on the battlefield and enjoyed the love of the people. However, Li Bai, battle-hardened, longed for a peaceful and harmonious life. He was weary of the bloodshed and violence and longed to return to the fields and live a simple life. One day, Li Bai decided to lay down his arms and return to the fields. He took off his heavy armor and bloodied robes, exchanging them for simple clothes. He bid farewell to his comrades and the battlefield, and set out for home. Once home, Li Bai did not choose an easy, prosperous life, but returned to the land his family had worked for generations, working hard and creating happiness with his own hands. He planted rice, raised silkworms, exchanging the fruits of his labor for life’s necessities. In rural life, he found a peace and harmony he had never known. He showed through his actions what true peace and happiness meant. In his way, he added more moving legends, becoming a hero in the hearts of his people and a story told for centuries.
