Origin Story
话说大禹治水，为了治理好九州的水患，他日夜操劳，四处奔波。他深知治理水患并非易事，必须集思广益，群策群力。于是，他召集各地的贤臣能吏，共同商讨治水方案。大禹首先阐述了自己的治水主张，然后虚心听取大家的意见，认真分析各种方案的可行性。经过多日的反复商议，与会者们对大禹的治水方案达成了询谋佥同，一致赞同，并纷纷献策，积极参与到治水工作中。最终，在众人的共同努力下，大禹成功地治理了水患，创造了辉煌的业绩。这便是询谋佥同的典故来源。
It is said that Yu the Great, in order to control the floods in the nine provinces, worked day and night and traveled tirelessly. He knew that controlling the floods was not an easy task and that he needed the wisdom of the many and the combined efforts of all. Therefore, he summoned wise ministers and capable officials from all parts of the country to discuss plans for water control together. Yu the Great first expounded his own views on water control, then humbly listened to everyone's opinions, and carefully analyzed the feasibility of various plans. After days of repeated consultations, the participants reached a consensus on Yu's water control plan, unanimously approved it, and offered suggestions one after another, actively participating in the water control work. Finally, with the joint efforts of everyone, Yu the Great successfully controlled the floods and created brilliant achievements. This is the origin of the idiom "Xunmou Qiantong".
