Old Zhang was an experienced carpenter who received a commission to make an exquisite wood carving. This carving required extremely high craftsmanship and patience; the slightest mistake could ruin all the previous efforts. Looking at the wood in front of him, Old Zhang's mind was filled with various questions: Whether the wood grain was suitable, whether the carving knife was sharp enough, whether his skills were up to the task, and so on. These worries piled up in his mind, making it difficult for him to start. He checked the wood and sharpened his carving knife repeatedly, but his mind remained restless. Finally, Old Zhang took a deep breath, telling himself to believe in his abilities and focus on the task at hand. He put aside his worries, concentrating fully on his creation and ultimately completed a truly amazing work of art.
