Zhan qian gu hou is a Chinese idiom that means to be cautious and considerate when doing things, but also to worry too much and be indecisive. It comes from Qu Yuan's Li Sao from the Warring States period. "Zhan qian er gu hou xi, xiang guan min zhi ji ji."
