During the Tang Dynasty, there was an old scholar who was well-read but ignorant of worldly affairs. Every day, he was only busy studying, completely ignoring trivial matters such as food and daily necessities. One day, he went out on business, and suddenly fainted and fell unconscious halfway. Passersby sent him back home. When his family saw his state, they quickly invited a doctor to examine him. After checking the old man’s pulse, the doctor shook his head and sighed, "He is unconscious due to excessive worry and overwork. He needs to rest and recover." The family finally realized that the old scholar had been overworking himself and his body was already overloaded; his fainting was a warning sign from his body.
