Once upon a time, in a small mountain village, there lived a young man named An Niu. An Niu was kind and pure-hearted, but he was introverted and not good at speaking. The villagers often quarreled over trivial matters, and An Niu always stood silently aside, rarely participating. One day, a major incident occurred in the village: the village head's old hen was stolen. Everyone was furious and guessed who did it. At this time, a young man pointed at An Niu and said, "It must be An Niu who stole it! He is usually silent and taciturn, he must be a thief!" Although the village head was angry, he did not easily believe the young man's words. He carefully questioned the people around him and investigated the course of the event, and finally found out that it was an outsider who stole the hen. The village head did not blame the young man, but patiently explained, "We cannot guess out of thin air, we must judge based on facts. An Niu is usually honest and law-abiding, and he will never do such a thing as stealing a hen. We need to treat everyone reasonably and understandingly, and we cannot wrong good people." The villagers listened to the village head's words and felt that it made sense, and they all apologized to An Niu. From then on, the villagers were more united and friendly, understood each other, helped each other, and the village became more harmonious and beautiful.
