Legend has it that in ancient China, the Heavenly Emperor divided the world among the various gods. One of these gods ruled over the human world and was appointed as the Nine-Five Supreme, possessing supreme power and authority. He controlled everything in the human world, had the ability to summon wind and rain, and could manipulate everything in the world. But this god was very humble and never revealed his power or prestige. He always silently guarded the human world, brought blessings to the people, and used his wisdom and benevolence to guide the human world towards prosperity. The people revered this god, called him “Nine-Five Supreme”, and revered him as a god.
