大观园里,宝玉和一群小伙伴玩耍。一次,他们遇到薛蟠一伙人,薛蟠等人仗着人多势众,欺负宝玉的小伙伴秦钟。宝玉虽然生气,但面对人多势众的薛蟠等人,一时也难以招架。这时,贾瑞刚好路过,见此情景,立即上前制止,并责令薛蟠等人向秦钟赔礼道歉。薛蟠等人见贾瑞身份地位不低,而且宝玉及其他小伙伴也在一旁声援,知道贾瑞人多势众,于是乖乖地向秦钟赔礼道歉,这场风波才算平息。

Xue Pan and his group saw that Jia Rui's status was not low, and Baoyu and his friends were also supporting him. Therefore, Xue Pan and others obeyed and apologized to Qin Zhong, so the storm subsided.
