Origin Story
In the fifth year of Jian'an under Emperor Han Xiandi, Cao Cao led his troops to attack Yuan Shao's granary, Wuchao. Yuan Shao adopted Guo Tu's strategy and attempted to secretly attack Cao Cao's main camp, but ended up suffering a crushing defeat. To evade responsibility, Guo Tu falsely accused Zhang He of being disrespectful in the army and undermining troop morale. Zhang He, unable to bear it any longer, eventually defected to Cao Cao and became a key figure in Cao Cao's unification of the north. This story illustrates that one should always be cautious in words and deeds and avoid being disrespectful, so as not to cause unnecessary trouble.
