In the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, whose talent was overflowing, and whose poems were widely circulated. Later, however, he offended the powerful and was demoted, wandering around the world. Although he wrote many famous poems, his unrestrained behavior and unfortunate career ultimately led to a ruined reputation and a miserable life in his later years.
