Origin Story
During the Tang Dynasty, there was a poet named Li Bai, whose talent made him famous and led to his audience with the emperor. The emperor asked, "My dear official, what suggestions do you have for the country?" Li Bai, confident, replied: "Your Majesty, governing and stabilizing the country should be like taking big strides, pressing forward bravely, only then can great achievements be made!" After saying this, Li Bai strode out of the palace, leaving behind his elegant figure and forceful suggestions. From then on, "striding forward" became a synonym for resolute and courageous action.
