Origin Story

老张是一位经验丰富的历史老师，他讲课时常常喜欢平铺直叙地讲述历史事件。他不会运用华丽的辞藻，也不会加入个人情感的渲染，只是按照时间顺序，将事件的经过、人物、背景娓娓道来。虽然他的讲课方式略显单调，但学生们却能从中清晰地了解历史的脉络，并且深刻地理解历史事件的来龙去脉。有一次，学校组织学生参观了秦始皇兵马俑博物馆，同学们被兵马俑的宏伟气势所震撼，纷纷向老张提问。老张依旧是平铺直叙地讲解，从兵马俑的制作工艺，到秦始皇的统治思想，再到秦朝的兴衰成败，他都一一作了详细的说明，让同学们获益匪浅。虽然没有激昂的讲述，但老张的讲解让大家对秦朝的历史有了更全面的认识。

Old Zhang was an experienced history teacher who often liked to narrate historical events plainly and directly. He did not use flowery language or add personal emotional rendering; instead, he simply followed the chronological order and elaborated on the events, characters and background. Although his teaching method was a bit monotonous, students could clearly understand the historical context and deeply comprehend the ins and outs of historical events. Once, the school organized students to visit the Terracotta Army Museum, and the students were deeply shocked by the grandeur of the Terracotta Army and asked many questions to Old Zhang. Old Zhang still plainly and directly explained things, from the production techniques of the Terracotta Army to Qin Shi Huang’s ruling ideas, to the rise and fall of the Qin Dynasty, giving detailed explanations that allowed students to learn a lot. Although his speech was not impassioned, Old Zhang’s lecture helped students gain a more comprehensive understanding of the history of the Qin Dynasty.
