Once upon a time in ancient China, there was a scholar named Li Yuan who studied diligently for the imperial examinations. On the final day, as he rushed to submit his exam paper, he saw an elderly man fall to the ground. He immediately helped the man to his feet. The grateful elder informed him that the exams were over. Li Yuan, unable to contain his anxiety, desperately inquired about any possibility of a make-up exam. The elder explained that while this session was finished, there would be future opportunities. Li Yuan was devastated, realizing that all his hard work had been for naught. This experience taught him the value of time and he subsequently studied even harder, achieving excellent results in later exams.
