话说唐朝时期，有一位才华横溢的书生名叫李白，他年轻气盛，才思敏捷，常常在酒宴上即兴赋诗。一日，他受邀参加宰相张九龄的府邸宴会。席间，一位官员故意刁难李白，说他的诗歌虽然华丽，但却缺乏深度，不能反映民生疾苦。李白不慌不忙，拿起酒杯说道："兄台此言差矣，我作诗乃是为了抒发情怀，并非只为迎合世俗。我的诗歌虽不能改变国运，但亦无伤大雅。"张九龄听了，赞赏地点了点头，并邀请李白加入他的幕府。从此，李白的诗歌名扬天下，成为唐诗的瑰宝。
In the Tang Dynasty, there was a talented scholar named Li Bai, who was young and full of spirit. He often composed poems spontaneously at banquets. One day, he was invited to a banquet at the residence of the prime minister Zhang Jiu Ling. During the banquet, an official deliberately teased Li Bai, saying that his poems, while beautiful, lacked depth and failed to reflect the suffering of the people. Li Bai, unfazed, picked up his wine cup and said: "Sir, you are mistaken. I compose poetry to express my feelings, not to cater to popular tastes. Although my poems cannot change the fate of the nation, they do no harm to elegance. " Zhang Jiu Ling nodded in approval and invited Li Bai to join his government. Since then, Li Bai's poems became famous throughout the land, becoming a treasure of Tang poetry.
