In a remote mountain village, there lived an elderly carpenter named Old Li. He dedicated his life to creating exquisite wood carvings, and his works were once famous in the area. However, a sudden flash flood destroyed his workshop, also destroying the fruits of his labor over half a lifetime. After the floodwaters receded, Old Li's workshop was in ruins, precious wood was scattered everywhere, and his carefully carved wood sculptures were incomplete, some only remaining as broken fragments, others missing arms and legs. Facing this sudden disaster, Old Li was not overwhelmed; he silently cleaned up the mess, picking up the broken pieces of wood sculptures. Although these works could no longer be restored to their original appearance, Old Li did not abandon them. He carefully preserved these incomplete fragments, hoping to find some new creative inspiration from them. He believed that even incomplete works of art still contain unique charm and value.
