Yang Chang's wife, Sima Qian's daughter, however, showed extraordinary courage, urging her husband to undertake this arduous task. The next day, Yang Chang reported to the Empress Dowager, ultimately leading to Emperor Zhao's deposition and Liu Xun's ascension to the throne. Yang Chang's decision at this critical moment demonstrated responsibility and commitment, allowing us to deeply understand the tension and pressure expressed in "sweating profusely".
