For a moment, the whole village was filled with joyful laughter. However, due to the extreme cold, everyone tried to minimize their time outdoors, seeking refuge in their warm homes. In that era without central heating and modern heating appliances, people relied solely on firewood for warmth; they felt exceptionally cold, yet this also allowed them to experience the unique tranquility and warmth of winter.
