Once upon a time, there was a young man named Xiaoming who grew up in a remote mountain village and had little opportunity to experience the outside world. He lacked knowledge and didn't understand many things, so he often said things that made others laugh. Once, a merchant from outside the village came and introduced a new type of farm tool to the villagers. Xiaoming, however, looked confused and said he had never seen such a thing before. The merchant patiently explained the use and advantages of the tool, but Xiaoming still didn't understand. Finally, Xiaoming had to admit that he didn't know much and decided to study hard and expand his knowledge. From then on, Xiaoming began to diligently read books, observe the world around him, and work hard to improve his knowledge level.
