从前，山脚下住着一位名叫阿牛的年轻人。他从小就性格孤僻，独来独往，不喜欢与村里人交往。每天清晨，他便独自一人上山砍柴，傍晚才回家。他从不参加村里的集体活动，也不与人说笑。村里人都觉得他古怪，避而远之。 有一天，村里发生了一场大火，很多人房屋被烧毁。阿牛独自一人，用他平时砍柴的力气，奋力救火，挽救了许多村民的财产。人们这才发现，这个平时独来独往的年轻人，内心充满了善良和勇敢。从此，人们对他改观了，不再把他看作异类。阿牛也开始慢慢地融入村庄的生活，虽然他仍然保持着独来独往的习惯，但他不再是孤单一人了，因为他知道，他还有朋友，还有乡亲，还有这个村庄。
Once upon a time, at the foot of a mountain lived a young man named Aniu. From a young age, he was solitary and aloof, disliking interaction with the villagers. Every morning, he would go to the mountains alone to chop wood, returning home only in the evening. He never participated in the village's collective activities and never laughed or joked with others. The villagers found him strange and avoided him. One day, a great fire broke out in the village, destroying many homes. Aniu, all alone, used the strength he had acquired from chopping wood to fight the fire valiantly, saving the property of many villagers. Only then did people realize that this usually withdrawn young man had a kind and courageous heart. From then on, people changed their minds about him and no longer saw him as an outsider. Aniu began slowly to integrate into the life of the village, although he maintained his solitary habits, he was no longer alone, because he knew that he had friends, neighbours and the village.
